George Yancy, Professor of Philosophy at Duquesne University, has authored and edited many books including, Black Bodies, White Gazes: The Continuing Significance of Race and Exploring Race in Predominantly White Classrooms: Scholars of Color Reflect. Professor Yancy works primarily in the areas of critical philosophy of race, critical whiteness studies, and philosophy of the black experience.
