The Historical Studies department is launching the second year of our lecture series, Critical History Today. The themes of which build upon our shared commitment to developing modes of historical analysis that speak to the urgent concerns of the present and that promote rigorous engagement between history and other branches of the humanities and social sciences. Over the coming years, we plan to invite working historians from across the discipline to reflect on their approaches to writing Critical History Today.
