PLEASE NOTE: We are offering two sessions. Each workshop is two days; an experiment session and a results session. The sections are paired as follows:
March 8th and March 15th
March 9th and March 16th

Using naturally and artificially-pigmented bacteria and user-generated designs, you will create living images and patterns. These patterns will be pressed and fixed onto fabric. Printing: We will press and print our images onto fabric or paper and fix the image in place. Techniques in this workshop include Aseptic technique and antibiotic and artificial selection for microbes.
Sponsored by The Department of Natural Sciences & Mathematics, The Provost Office, and The New School’s Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts.
